How to reach us
Send anything to contact@storiesdown.dev. We usually reply within two business days. Writing in English gets the fastest answer, but we'll do our best with any language.
Before you write — quick answers
A few things come up so often that you may not need to wait for a reply at all:
- "A profile returns nothing." Nine times out of ten the account is private, the handle has a typo, or there is simply no story live right now. Stories expire after 24 hours, so an empty result is often just timing.
- "Can you show me a private account?" No — and no working tool can. StoriesDown only reads content that is already public on Instagram.
- "Is this really anonymous?" Yes. Our anonymous story viewer page explains exactly what the account owner can and cannot see.
Bug reports
If a search fails on a profile that should work, tell us the username you tried, the device and browser you were on, and roughly when it happened. That is usually all we need to reproduce the problem and ship a fix.
Content and removal requests
StoriesDown does not host any Instagram media — every story, photo, and video you see is fetched live from Instagram's public servers and never stored by us. If you want content taken off Instagram itself, that request has to go to Instagram. If you believe our site handles something incorrectly, email us with links and details and we will look into it promptly.
Advertising and partnerships
The site is supported by ads served through our advertising partners; we do not sell placements directly. For anything else — press, partnerships, or an idea you think we should build — the same inbox works.
